Korean cosmetics firm eyes Accra
South Korean cosmetics manufacturing company, HanBangMeIN (HBMIC) Group is considering the possibility of expanding its operations to the Ghanaian market in due course.
The HBMIC Group has, since its inception in 1985, been a major force in the Korean cosmetics industry, expanding its operations overseas to countries such as China, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam, among others.
But the company is also now looking to Africa, beginning with Ghana, as part of continuous efforts to expand its operations and meet the needs of people in other regions.
It is therefore calling on all individuals who are interested in doing cosmetics business to come forward and establish business ties with it for its wide range of skin and hair products as well as perfumes.
Overseas Sales Manager of HBMIC, SK Baik, said his company has expressed preparedness to partner with businesses in Ghana. "Any organization or individual interested in doing business with us should kindly contact our Ghana Country Representative.”
HBMIC, produce trustworthy and effective cosmetics all time by conflating oriental medicine from Asia and new technology from the west, the statement indicated. It has products with small or large capacity for retail use and skin care salon use.
Also, the company has different cosmetic lines such as the highest quality line for skin care salon for different skin types, the statement read. For instance, there is the Bok Jeon Hwa line, consisting of 16 kinds of high quality cosmetics with high-end packages, it said.
"Providing this line with reasonable prices especially for students, we have a good notice from universities, institutes, and schools. Not only in Korea, but also from a lot of other countries like USA, Japan, North Europe, and France."
Established in 1985, HBMIC uses natural herbal composite extracts approved by South Korea's Food and Drugs Authority in manufacturing its wide range of products. The company has been awarded severally for its excellence in manufacturing in trading.
In 2004, it was adjudged the Best Cosmetics Company by the Seoul Economist and Journal; received the superior exporting prize from the Mayor of the city of Daegu, South Korea.
