COA reassures of product’s efficacy

As part of measures to debunk some misconceptions surrounding its product, the Centre of Awareness (COA), has reassured the public and its clients of the safety and effectiveness of the COA FS, a dietary supplement.

The COA FS is an immune booster comprising 113 organic compounds that have the ability to fight infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.

According to Dr. Samuel Ato Duncan, Founder and CEO of the Centre, who was speaking at a press conference in Accra, the product is useful as a supplement for patients receiving orthodox medication for diseases such as retroviral infections, stroke, renal disorders, cancers, diabetes, and other chronic diseases.

However, there have been some information in the media lately, suggesting that the COA FS is a cure for HIV/AIDS, which has sparked a lot controversies.

This, the Dr. Duncan noted, as inaccurate and unfortunate, saying the product only boosts the immune system, which can further fight deadly diseases, and appealed to the public to disregard any such misinformation about the product.

“The Centre has been once again compelled by the numerous questions and calls from our clients here in Ghana and all over the world to explain and set the records straight, about matter arising from publications and media interviews by the Eastern Regional Aids Commission and the Coordinating directed at COA which seeks to damage our hard-earned reputation

In this regard, I am here to reassure our clients that our product has undergone rigorous scientific analysis by internationally acclaimed research institutions, and is endorsed by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) as a food supplement and approved for sale to the general public.

Hence, the safety of the product is never, and should never be in contention. We therefore urge the general public, especially our clients to disregard the erroneous impression created by some people”, he said.

Speaking at the conference, Ghanaian hiplife artiste, OJ Blaq who is a user, and now the product’s brand ambassador, called on the public to desist from tarnishing the image of the producers.

Recounting how COA FS saved his life when he was diagnosed with a chronic kidney problem last year, the rapper indicated that having been on dialysis for six months, he discovered the product and within six months, he has been cleared of the ailment.

According to him, he believes the product strengthened his immune system and fought out the condition.

In June 2016, news went viral that OJ Blaq had been admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for chronic kidney cancer.

The Centre of Awareness is a vibrant, social non-governmental organisation established in Ghana, which among other things, seeks to research and develop drugs that can treat and cure the many deadly diseases that affect humanity.
