Management of FOCOS Hospital calls on B&FT
The management of FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital paid a courtesy visit to the editorial management of the Business & Financial Times (B&FT) in Accra.
The FOCOS team, led by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Leticia Osei-Poku, said the visit was meant to commend the B&FT for its tremendous efforts in churning out credible business news over the years and also strengthen the specialist hospital’s existing ties with the media giant.
Mrs.Osei-Poku and her team interacted with the Managing Editor William Selassy Adjadogo and some business as well as health reporters. She was accompanied by the Development & Public Relations Manager at FOCOS, Nana Kwame Osei Fordjour and Dr. Mahmud Rufai, a Spine Surgeon at FOCOS.
During their interaction, the FOCOS CAO reiterated the hospital’s commitment towards quality orthopaedic healthcare delivery and training African health practitioners in orthopaedic surgery and anesthesia.
Dr. Rufai encouraged Mr. Adjadogo and his team to maintain the niche they have carved for themselves in the media industry and also give prominence to Orthopaedic health issues in the country because many Ghanaians were had limited knowledge in the area.
Mr. Adjadogo assured the hospital’s team of the media giant’s readiness to support and partner institutions achieve their aim but will always maintain its position as a leading watchdog in society.
“We as a business paper is here for business. At the same time we will not shy away from reporting the ills in society whether it is coming from the health sector or the business community because that is our major role in society,” he noted.
