Groupe Ndoum launches Ambulance services for employees
Management of GN Health, a subsidiary of Groupe Ndoum, has launched the first of its kind, Ambulance Service, to complete the bouquet of medical services for the benefit of employees of the group of companies.
According to Issah Adam, the chairman of GN Health, the subsidiary has been providing free medical services for over 50 employees of the Groupe, and this initiative is expected to complement the already existing free medical services being offered.
“With the launch of this ambulance service, we are taking our welfare services a step further, in order to be able to cater for the health needs of all our workers.
You know very well that you can’t say there can never be emergency situations, but once that happens, you should be able to go to the rescue of employees, that is why this is being launched.” he added.
At a short ceremony to unveil the ambulances to staff in Accra, Mr Adam also explained that “these ambulances are a pilot project for now, with the intention of increasing the fleet in the near future, and also extend our services for the benefit of the general public”
The decision to introduce the Ambulance Service is “to provide a 24-hour pre-hospital care ambulance service for the employees of Groupe Ndoum in Accra and Elmina.”
He also maintained that they will ensure they have well trained EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) and ambulance drivers who are well trained and know exactly what to do in emergency situations.
The ambulances are well equipped with modern equipment and consumables needed for emergency situations, and pre-hospital care to patients.
