GOSA 99 donates to school
The 1999 Year group of Grace Preparatory School, have donated items worth Ghc2,700 to their school, in a bid to motivate and honour the school’s founder and teachers.
According to executives of the group, they realized the need to come up with an initiative to motivate the headmistress and long serving teachers, in order to continue to churn out academically sound students.
“We left school 17 years ago, and given how the school shaped and guided us, it was fitting to come over to help in one way or the other. This is just the first step and looking ahead, we are hopeful of carrying out similar initiative” Felicia Akuamoa said.
The items included a 32inch digital Samsung TV, water dispenser, hampers for headmistress and seven teachers who taught them from primary to Junior High School.
The founder of the school, Grace Asamoah Darko, was excited by the gesture and maintained that it was the first of its kind by any year group.
Mr Kweku Darko ,the Director for the school also expressed appreciation of the honour done the school and hinted of plans to rope in old students in the school’s activities for the ensuing years.
The 1999 Grace Preparatory School products comprise bankers, journalists, entrepreneurs among others who have resolved to continually make significant strides in the school.
