Amanano wins “Best Rural Bank Brand in Agric Financing” award

Amanano Rural Bank Limited at Nyinahin  in the Atwima Mponua District of Ashanti Region has been adjudged the “Best Rural Bank Brand in Agric Financing” and the overall  “Best Rural Bank Brand in Customer Relations 2016"  at the Brands Excellence Award held recently in Accra.

The citation that accompanied the award  reads: “ Having been voted the "Best Rural Bank Brand in Agric Financing in Ghana " and the overall " Best Rural Bank Brand in Customer Relations" in 2016 which confirm the immense role the brand has played in the  last three years in leading the way towards excellence in branding.

This also testifies the competence of the team behind the brand and confirms the team’s superiority in brand building through successful strategy execution.”

The event which was put together by Premier Brands Ghana Limited  was to honour businesses which were doing everything possible to improve the value of their brands.

The rationale behind the awards is to encourage businesses to appreciate and apply the discipline of branding. The event sought to pay tribute to outstanding brands  for their accomplishments in branding to encourage and challenge others to emulate.

A survey conducted by the event organisers revealed that the bank’s contribution to excellence and economic growth, particularly in the area of innovation in customer relations and Agric financing  was outstanding and upon a thoughtful consideration, arrived at a pertinent consensus to confer on the Bank  this  award.

The award category derived deep into the Bank’s  enviable track record for the past three years.  The performance of the bank within this period has been very significant and poised to    forge ahead courageously with its impressive laurels and likewise to inspire  other rural banks  to emulate the Amanano  shining example.

The General Manager of the Bank, Christian Osei Bonsu  told Business & Financial Times in an interview that such awards motivates him to do more and to achieve more. “ I and the entire management team will not rest on our oars, but continue to work much harder to achieve better results.
