TIGO launches ‘Talk For Free’ product

TIGO, a leading mobile telephony company, has launched a unique product known as Customer Talk For Free.

The new product allows subscribers to pay for the first three minutes of each call at the prevailing tariffs and TIGO pays for the rest – applicable for TIGO to TIGO calls only.

After an initial charge for the first three minutes, a subscriber can talk for up to sixty minutes (1 hour) for free.

Unveiling the new product, the Deputy Head of Marketing of TIGO, Ms Rosy Fynn, said the introduction of the Talk for Free product was inspired by the consumer insight that subscribers would appreciate to talk for longer durations - but cannot afford to, and as a result most subscribers rush through conversations and cut the line once they have said what they want.

Ms Fynn disclosed that the main objectives with the introduction of this new product are to dial up to the value proposition that TIGO is affordable, available and easily accessible; enhance the Top of Mind awareness of TIGO and its use as a vehicle to increase loyalty to the brand and stimulate its appeal so that people who are not yet on the network will now try it.

She said TIGO has other services like TIGO Smart Talk and TIGO Special Sunday promotions whereby the company excites its numerous customers with exciting offers.
